Barbecued Pork Spareribs

5 lbs. pork ribs

¾ cup brown sugar

1½ Tbs. dry mustard

2 tsp. salt

¼ tsp. black pepper

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp. ginger

1 8 oz. can tomato sauce

1 cup orange juice

2 Tbs. onion, minced

3 Tbs. parsley

2 Tbs. Worchestershire sauce

Prepare ribs by boiling in a large pot with salt water for 45-60 minutes. In a bowl, combine sauce ingredients and let stand for 15 minutes. Place ribs on a platter and brush both sides with sauce; let ribs stand for 2 hours. Remove ribs and reserve sauce. Cook ribs on a grill or bake them slowly in an oven. Brush frequently with sauce during cooking. Remove ribs to platter and allow to stand 5 minutes before serving.

Preheat oven to 450° F. Line roasting pan with heavy duty foil. Add 2 cups of water inside foil. Place ham in water, close foil over top of ham and seal. Put lid on roasting pan and bake for 20 minutes at 450° F. Turn off oven and leave ham inside oven (KEEP OVEN DOOR CLOSED) for 3 hours. Again, preheat oven to 450° F, change the water inside foil and repeat all of the steps above.

Ham is finished!

Reminder: Oven door is to remain closed at all times.
